Korrekt vattenvård för pooler börjar alltid med att justera pH-nivån. Den ideala nivån ligger mellan 7,0 och 7,4. pH-värdet påverkar både dig som badar, poolen och desinfektionsmedlets funktion. Du bör kontrollera pH-nivån i ditt poolvatten minst en gång i veckan.

För lågt pH-värde (surt), pH = < 7,0:

  • Kan orsaka irritationer i slemhinnor och ögon.
  • kan orsaka korrosion hos metalldelar.
  • Fogmassa kan bli angripen.

För högt pH-värde (basiskt), pH = > 7,4:

  • Kan verka irriterande på hud, slemhinnor och ögon.
